I recently visited the coast of Normandy and was captured by the sky and the clouds and the quickness of the change in the weather and sky there. Those French skies just mesmerized me. Such beauty in the changes of colours, tones and complexion of the sky. I created this painting from my imagination, inspired by my memory of those coastal skies. Many times, as quickly as storm clouds would appear, just as quickly, they would clear and break away to show the blue sky, giving me a sense of hope and peace.
