I created this painting from my imagination and it is part of a series of paintings done in a minimalist, abstract style, with a lighter palette and soft brushwork. My goal was to create a dreamlike, ethereal quality to the scene with minimal detail and only a slight suggestion of the objects in it. In this painting, I imagined myself stopping to look at the landscape, in a moment of pure solitude, hearing that “still small voice” of God, letting me know he is with me.
