I created this painting from my imagination. A dramatic sky dominates the composition with a spectrum of grays, from near-white at the top to nearly black closer to the horizon, suggesting a stormy atmosphere. Rays of light appear to break through the cloud cover, giving a sense of hope or a break in the storm.
