I created this painting from my imagination, using only titanium white and ivory black. It is part of a monochromatic, minimalist cloudscape series I am creating.
This series is meant to be dark, ominous and moody. My intent is to recognize that darkness, like the storm clouds, can come upon many of us in life and even remain for longer than we would like, but there is the knowing that light is always ahead us. Never give up hope.
