I created this sunset painting from my imagination. I always find the late day light, just before the sun sets, to be the most healing and peaceful time of day. I think it’s the way the light casts it’s warm glow on the earth and creates those dark, umber shadows that really strikes my soul. There’s a stoic quietness in the air that brings me peace and allows me to reflect on all that I have to be grateful for. It’s in these moments I feel closest to God.
