I created this cloudscape painting from my imagination in the impressionistic style, with a little more texture in the brushwork. I wanted to create a dramatic sunset- cloudscape, with backlit clouds. I love it when the bright sun is behind the clouds, with only the slightest bursts of sunlight peeking over the cloud edges. It is a magical time when this happens. A lift to the spirit. As if God is giving you a gift and a momentary reminder that he is still here. I hope this painting lifts your spirit in some way.
