I created this monochromatic, semi-abstract, minimalist cloudscape painting from my imagination. It is part of my semi-abstract, black and white monochromatic series. I wanted to create a sense of moodiness and atmosphere in this painting. This series is meant to be somber and reflective.

I love staring up at the clouds and watching their changing shapes and forms. I am gripped with the fascination of knowing that no two clouds are ever alike. Never to be repeated or seen again. I am especially moved when the light peeks through the clouds, instilling in me a sense of hope that is almost celestial in nature. It is as if the angels are smiling down at me, bringing me joy.
