I created this stormy, cloudscape from my imagination. It was done more as a study in black and white for my Monochromatic collection. However, I decided to allow a little bit of the light blue undercoat to peek through the clouds to perhaps give a sense of hope that the pending storms of life will pass and that blue skies will eventually prevail. This painting also currently hangs in my house, but is still for sale.

Shades of gray and white dominate the scene, depicting what appears to be a tumultuous sky. Swirling clouds give a sense of movement and a brewing storm, while a dark, calm base suggests a horizon.
